REFILL kit for 14 oz Dough Bowl
Our refill kits are super easy to use and allow you to enjoy you dough bowl candles again and again. All you need is a hot glue gun, our kit provides the rest.
Each kit includes 16 oz of soy wax with your favorite scent in a microwavable container. It also includes wicks, a wick spacing guide, a stir stick, and directions. Simply select your fragrance and we’ll send exactly the right amount of ingredients. It’s that easy!
Directions:
Clean any residual wax from your dough bowl and remove metal wick tabs by carefully heating with a hair dryer or heat gun. Use paper towels to blot up all residual wax and make sure it is thoroughly dry.
Use hot glue gun stick to the metal base of the wicks in the bowl, space evenly using the provided stick with colored holes.
Place refill container in the microwave for 90 seconds. Remove and stir with wooden stick. (Please be cautious - as wax will be hot).
If there are still large lumps heat for an additional 30 seconds. Stir wax with the provided stir stick until any clumps are melted.
Carefully pour the melted wax into the prepped dough bowl container.
Let your candle sit for at least 24 hours before moving. Let sit an additional 3 days for the wax to fully cure (harden).
Trim the wicks to 1/4 inch before lighting.
Congratulations, you have just refilled your Vuur Lont Dough Bowl Candle!
Hints for best results
Try to keep the room temperature stable and don’t let fans blow onto the candle while it sets
Pour your candle in a spot where it won’t be disturbed by people, pets, or inquisitive kiddos.
