Vuur Lont Candle Co began with the desire to create high-quality clean burning candles and has grown to include several more fragrance products for your home.

Clean Air

We value your health and the air you breathe so we took the time to research what makes a good candle and carefully sourced fragrance oils that are phthalate-free and do not contain toxins. We chose to use 100% clean-burning soy wax and natural cotton wicks.

Clean Earth

We have tried to think eco-friendly in every part of the process from initial production to final shipping. We look to purchase products from companies that are committed to environmental sustainability. The soybeans used to make the wax used for our candles are grown in the US and are a renewable resource just like the natural wicks we use. Many of the jars and tins we use are made from partially recycled materials and can be reused or recycled. Our packaging and shipping materials are recyclable as well.

Clean Candles

Each custom-blended fragrance combination is formulated and tested to ensure our quality scents will be enjoyable.  We hand-pour our products in small batches to ensure that the items you get are made with quality and care.

Why the name?

We looked to our heritage to find inspiration and a name for our small business. We chose the Dutch words for fire (Vuur) and wick (Lont) to combine our love of candles and our small business dream while also giving a nod to the previous generations of family who worked so hard for their dreams.
